This month we take a closer look at the plant behind our essential oil - Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii var. motia).
Taxonomy & Botany
Palmarosa is an aromatic grass found in the botanical family of Poaceae (Gramineae). It gets its common name of Palmarosa from the fact that it has a fresh, sweet, delicate, floral (rosy) aroma.
