Rooted Clarity
I realized how much my connection with my plant friends had waned during the long winter when all but the hardy conifers were bare of foliage, and how very much my spirit missed it.

At the end of March, I took a short trip with a friend from my home in Colorado down to the border of Texas. Nine hours south, I was pleased to discover that spring was far more advanced than the tentative shoots of new growth I was just beginning to see at home.
